1. عقیدہ آخرت /Belief in the Day of Judgement & Resurrection

basic components of this belief

كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

translation "Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection"

ہر متنفس کو موت کا مزا چکھنا ہے اور تم کو قیامت کے دن تمہارے اعمال کا پورا پورا بدلا دیا جائے گا

3:185__Surat 'Āli `Imrān - سورة آل عمران

الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلَّهِ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ

Translation: The Sovereignty on that day will be Allah's, He will judge between them. Then those who believed and did good works will be in Gardens of Delight,

اس روز بادشاہی خدا ہی کی ہوگی۔ اور ان میں فیصلہ کردے گا تو جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور عمل نیک کرتے رہے وہ نعمت کے باغوں میں ہوں گے

22:56 Surat Al-Ĥaj (The Pilgrimage) - سورة الحج

فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ

وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ

So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it. (99:7)

And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. (99:8)

تو جس نے ذرہ بھر نیکی کی ہو گی وہ اس کو دیکھ لے گا

اور جس نے ذرہ بھر برائی کی ہوگی وہ اسے دیکھ لے گا

Surat Az-Zalzalah (The Earthquake) - سورة الزلزلة

وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا لَا تَجْزِي نَفْسٌ عَنْ نَفْسٍ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا شَفَاعَةٌ وَلَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ

Translation: And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will compensation be taken from it, nor will they be aided.

اور اس دن سے ڈرو جب کوئی کسی کے کچھ کام نہ آئے اور نہ کسی کی سفارش منظور کی جائے اور نہ کسی سے کسی طرح کا بدلہ قبول کیا جائے اور نہ لوگ (کسی اور طرح) مدد حاصل کر سکیں

2:48 Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) - سورة البقرة

Scepticism of the opponents

وَقَالُوا أَإِذَا ضَلَلْنَا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَإِنَّا لَفِي خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ بِلِقَاءِ رَبِّهِمْ كَافِرُونَ

And they say, "When we are lost within the earth, will we indeed be [recreated] in a new creation?" Rather, they are, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, disbelievers.

اور کہنے لگے کہ جب ہم زمین میں ملیامیٹ ہوجائیں گے تو کیا ازسرنو پیدا ہوں گے حقیقت یہ ہے کہ یہ لوگ اپنے پروردگار کے سامنے جانے ہی کے قائل نہیں

32:10 Surat As-Sajdah (The Prostration) - سورة السجدة

قَالَ مَنْ يُحْيِي الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ

translation: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away?

جب) ہڈیاں بوسیدہ ہوجائیں گی تو ان کو کون زندہ کرے گا؟

36:78 Surat Yā-Sīn (Ya Sin) - سورة يس

Logical (& beautiful) reply of Allah Almighty

وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ آيَةٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهَا وَهُمْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضُونَ

translation: And how many a sign within the heavens and earth do they pass over with face averted

اور آسمان و زمین میں بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں جن پر یہ گزرتے ہیں اور ان سے اعراض کرتے ہیں

12:105 Surat Yūsuf (Joseph) - سورة يوسف

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِنَ الْبَعْثِ فَإِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ تُرَابٍ

O mankind! if ye are in doubt concerning the Resurrection, then lo! We have created you from dust,

لوگو اگر تم کو مرنے کے بعد جی اُٹھنے میں کچھ شک ہو تو ہم نے تم کو (پہلی بار بھی تو) پیدا کیا تھا (یعنی ابتدا میں) مٹی سے

(part) 22: 5 Surat Al-Ĥaj (The Pilgrimage) - سورة الحج

كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَكُنْتُمْ أَمْوَاتًا فَأَحْيَاكُمْ ۖ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ

Translation :How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned.

(کافرو!) تم خدا سے کیوں کر منکر ہو سکتے ہو جس حال میں کہ تم بےجان تھے تو اس نے تم کو جان بخشی پھر وہی تم کو مارتا ہے پھر وہی تم کو زندہ کرے گا پھر تم اسی کی طرف لوٹ کر جاؤ گے

2: 28 Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) - سورة البقرة

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنَّكَ تَرَى الْأَرْضَ خَاشِعَةً فَإِذَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِي أَحْيَاهَا لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Translation: And among His Signs (in this), that you see the earth barren, but when We send down water (rain) to it, it is stirred to life and growth (of vegetations). Verily, He Who gives it life, surely, (He) is Able to give life to the dead (on the Day of Resurrection). Indeed! He is Able to do all things.

اور (اے بندے یہ) اسی کی قدرت کے نمونے ہیں کہ تو زمین کو دبی ہوئی (یعنی خشک) دیکھتا ہے۔ جب ہم اس پر پانی برسا دیتے ہیں تو شاداب ہوجاتی اور پھولنے لگتی ہے تو جس نے زمین کو زندہ کیا وہی مردوں کو زندہ کرنے والا ہے۔ بےشک وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے

41:39 Surat Fuşşilat (Explained in Detail) - سورة فصلت

Comparison of Earthly life with the afterlife

وَمَا هَٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَهْوٌ وَلَعِبٌ ۚ وَإِنَّ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ لَهِيَ الْحَيَوَانُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ

And this life of the world is only amusement and play! Verily, the home of the Hereafter, that is the life indeed (i.e. the eternal life that will never end), if they but knew

اور یہ دنیا کی زندگی تو صرف کھیل اور تماشہ ہے اور( ہمیشہ کی) زندگی (کا مقام) تو آخرت کا گھر ہے۔ کاش یہ (لوگ) سمجھتے

29:64 Surat Al-`Ankabūt (The Spider) - سورة العنكبوت

أَرَضِيتُمْ بِالْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا مِنَ الْآخِرَةِ ۚ فَمَا مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ

Are you satisfied with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But what is the enjoyment of worldly life compared to the Hereafter except a [very] little.

کیا تم آخرت (کی نعمتوں) کو چھوڑ کر دینا کی زندگی پر خوش ہو بیٹھے ہو۔ دنیا کی زندگی کے فائدے تو آخرت کے مقابل بہت ہی کم ہیں
