Packaged Softwares : Mass-produced,copy righted retail softwares that meets the needs of a wide variety of users, not just a single user or a organization.

Page Description language (PDL): Software that tells the printer how to layout the content of a printed page.

PostScript : Standard language by professionals in the destop publishing and graphics art fields,designed for complex document with intense graphics and colors.

Power-on Self Test (POST) : Series of test that is executed by the BIOS to make sure the computer hardware is connected and operating properly when system boots.

Power Supply : Component of the system unit that converts wall outlet AC power into DC power that is used by the computer.

Power User : Users who requires the capabilities of a work station or other powerful computers.

Predictive Text Input : Smart phone technology where pressing one key on keyboard for each latter in a word and software predict the word user want.

Preemptive Multitasking : Process in which the operating system interrupts a program that is executing and passes control to another program waiting to be executed.

Proprietary Softwares: Software that is privately owned and limited to a seocific vendor or computer model.

Public Domain Softwares : Free software that has been donated for public use and has no copyright restriction.

Publish : Process of creating a Web page and making it available on the internet for other to see and use.

Pull : Request information from the web servers.

Push : process of a Web server sending content to a computer at regular intervals, such as current score s or weather reports.
