1) To destabilise the nuclear programme of Pakistan
2)Control of Taliban in Afghanistan
3) To target the hideouts or lairs of Al qaida in Pakistan...
What do you people think is it possible in long run?
Much more is going on covertly in this so-called war on terror beyond its said objectives. The world is being persuaded by the US that this is an effort to eliminate terror from the earth to save humanity from the giant hands of terrorism, but in reality those who claim to be the custodians of humanity are the biggest terrorists. This can be understood easily from their self-serving activities which are just detrimental for the humanity. There are many reasons for which they are spending so huge amount of money and suffering damage in the form of human lose. It is apparent from the wild struggle of US that it is just trying to get hold in the south Asia to sustain its economic and political power.

On the one hand, US is trying to win over the trust of western countries by proving that it has suffered great damage for being the leader of NATO and other alliances in on going on terror. On the other, it is actively engaged in establishing its hegemony over the Asian countries. No doubt that one of its objectives is to weaken the Pakistan's stability which is the fortification of Muslim world. Much US has succeeded in its attempt because Pakistan's unwilling or willing participation in the war on terror has harmed it a lot in the form of lose in precious lives and material. It is very possible that the US wants a final blow on us by destabilizing our nuclear power. We should hope for better and pray from Allah that may this never happen.

As far as control over Taliban is concerned, it seems that the external powers could never happen to do so. The well-equiped and well-trained NATO forces have been fighting against them over a decade, but they did not succeed in their aim. Now they are planning to withdraw from the afghan pretending as if they succeeded in what they claimed. After there withdrawal now this all will have to be borne by this region and its people as it happened in the past as well when US withdrew from the afghan after defeating soviet. In the wake of economic crisis we were all left in lurch to bear the brunt of harsh circumstances

Both Pakistan and Afghanistan are in the same boat, and the massive damage they both suffered for the cause of this war are also the same. Now it will be sensible if they both try to find a pragmatic solutions of their problems instead of involving any foreign power, as this will only disturb the peace in the region.
