I think it is just a political maneuver by the ruling party PPP to score some political score at the cost of PML-N and the rest. They are just playing with the sentiments of the people from different geographical localities, who seriously considers that they are been under-represented at the provincial and federal level and as a result they are under developed.

However, given the entire motive of the ruling coalition to use this issue in their favor and to create dissension and divisions, it will only create trouble for the federation of Pakistan. Which is already in a mess of ethnic divisions, sectarian violence, and racial and linguistic discriminations. Further demarcation of people on such lines will cause more intolerance, more bloodshed and may lead to a chaotic and anarchic situation specially keeping in view the already troubled places such as Karachi, entire Balochistan and Hazara region of K.P
