@miss sara,

that was a good attempt i must say. but didnt you forget to discuss the structure of earth with reference to the seismic waves? i mean you discussed about the L, P and S waves but here in this question dont we need to mention how we can deduce the internal structure of earth due to these waves? like we can write that as S waves do not travel through the liquid, so if S waves are not recorded this means that they hve encountered a liquid part within the earth. hence earth has a liquid part...

please tell me if i am wrong, coz i a junior member and relatively new to this subject.
