No, the major cause of the downfall of the Muslims was their abhorrence of change and their unwillingness (or inability) to attain scientific education. The Ottoman Empire, remained powerful for a long time, but finally succumbed to the far more technologically advanced Europeans. It should be noted here that although the Ottoman Empire technically came to an end after the WW1, they had been taking a beating for quite some time. Had they paid more attention to science and less to their so called "art", they might managed to retain their power.
Similarly, had the Mughals paid more attention to science and less to building gardens, they might have been able to put down the Marathas (who were the MAIN cause for the decline of Mughal power). In the case of the Mughals, although India was a rich country, they had failed to modrenize their economic system which was another major reason for their rather quick collapse (Aurangzeb died in 1707; Delhi was overrun in 1737).
Of course you can argue that the "immoral" lifestyles of the Mughals contributed to their fall, but that was by no means the main reason.
