Q1. How is knowledge different from understanding?
Ans: The Basic difference between former and latter is that knowledge is obtained when we adjust the new experience in our past ideas while understanding is obtained when we abandon the old ideas and find the new achievable ways of life.

Q.2 Explain why understanding cannot be passed on?
Ans: Understanding is not based on ideas. Rather, it is a new practical thing which can be discussed but not transferred, because no one can understand the feelings of another. This is why understanding can not be passed on.

Q3. Is the knowledge of understanding possible? If it is, how may it be passed on?
Ans: Yes, knowledge of understanding is possible and it can be passed on by communication

Q4. How does the author explain that knowledge of understanding is not the same thing as the understanding?
Ans: Knowledge of understanding precedes the understanding. For one thing, when we have knowledge of understanding of something we could understand that particular thing.

Ans: yes I agree with the authored that knowledge is a basic thing. Because knowledge is usually obtain through personal idea or habits while understanding replaces the old ideas and we put these into practical use.
