You're always welcome,Aijaz!

I just realized that i have overlooked some other crucial benefits, accordingly, the details follow:

~As 'Thinking' mentioned, during the 14 month training period at the Lhr and Isl Civil Services Academies, the President awards the Trainee with a monthly pocket money of 7,000/PKR,so s/he can spend time calling back home and sharing how delighted (albeit:miserable) s/he is!

~If,however, the Trainee fails any of the Academy tests,s/he is cerimoniously escorted to the Academy gates, and kicked out!S/he will also be required to refund the entire pocket money that was used to waste valuable time calling and whining back at home!

~If,say, the Trainee manages to pass out intact,s/he will be required to undergo an endless 6 month probationary period!During this period, the State will award her/him with the title of UT (Under Training) alongwith his/her official designation.

~Further down the career lane,if the concerned CSP begins to have a rollicking good time in his/her alloted occupational service/group,the Federal Govt. will depute him/her to another! If s/he continues to have fun in the deputed group as well,s/he will be made an OSD (Officer on Special Duty-A civilized way of saying Get Lost)!
Members of all the occupational groups/services can and are, deputed to other groups throughout their career;making their careers less static in comparision to ordinary mortals, with the exception of the Police. They are barred from representing Pakistan through the Foreign Services Group (FSG).Similarly, the respectable members of the other occupational groups are not posted out to the PSP (Pakistan State Police) either!

~Then again,if a CSP officer begins to consider her/himself educated at any point in his career, the State nominates her/him for international training...in 3rd World countries! If say,the officer is in dire need of deflation on his/her skills,s/he is nominated for training/education in the U.S.All boarding, lodging and partying expenses are borne by the tax payers.

~However, during this time, the spouse is held (read:hostaged) back in Pakistan, lest s/he becomes an obstacle in your quest of (un)official training.Among other benefits, this this temporary seperation is apparently designed to refresh marital life at both ends!

These are the only official (Civil Services) benefits that i'm presently aware of.Incase any other dawn upon me then i shall continue to update you from time to time!

Regards,
