Hwoever as per section 24 of NAO, only Chairman NAB is empowred to direct arrest of accused
" The Chairman NAB shall have the power, at any stage of the 3[inquiry or] investigation under this Ordinance, to direct that the accused, if not already arrested, shall be arrested."
Under the NAB ordinance all the powers are excersied by Chairman or his/her authorised officer.If Chairman NAB tender resgination, the whole proceedings will come to halt untill appointment of the new person.

Yes, these are orders of arrest of Prime Minister, but he is still accused and has not yet been convicted of the crime, as such even after arrest, techincally he will remain Prime Minister..
As regards resignation of Chairman NAB, some British newspaper claimed that the Chairman NAB has resigned and he has gone to Karachi perhaps, but to Pakistani news channels have perhaps not confirmed any such thing. ............
