Dear you have to study solar system to understand this. I try to explain a bit here.
Solar system consists of a star and planets. Star is the sun while planets are mercury, venus, earth, mars, jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune and pluto. Planets revolve around the sun. And these planets have their natural satellites called as moon. These satellites revolve around the planets. Each planet has its own satellites or moon. Earth has one moon, few have more and two have no moon. It goes like this.
Moon revolves around planets and planets revolve around star or sun.
For more details: read solar system.
I hope it helps.
