I) Afghan Talibans are remnants of ex-Taliban regime at Afghanistan and includes Mullah Umar, Quetta Shura, Hikmatyar Company, Haqqani Group etc. They have concerns with/in Afghanistan and it is often said that they do not carry out any important /terrorist activity in Pakistani territory except for taking refuge.

II). Pakistani Talibans are the people who have waged war against Pakistani government and army etc. Flash areas include FATA (Waziristan, Orakzai, Kurram, Khyber, Bajur etc) and Malakand Division (particularly Swat District).

III). TTP faction is anti-state and demands for a sharia based system in country (their concepts of sharia) and have waged war against the state machinery. It will not be false to state that they are not favourable to Pakistan.

IV). Every party is concerned about TTP and other Taliban factions because it is prime responsibility of government to bring peace in the country and unless and until TTP and other Taliban factions are not contained (either through dialogue or through force), it is difficult to bring peace in country.

Regards
