The term precept means a letter of request which is issued by executing court to another court in whose local limits the property of judgement debtor is situated to attach the property of judgement debtor in order to compel the judgement debtor to join execution and execute the decree.

set off means counter claim of the defendant against the plaintiff arising out of a transaction independent of the plaintiff's claim.
