The written test for Electrical Engineer in our case consisted of topics from Basic Electrical circuits like ohm's law, kirchhoff's laws, Thevenin and Norton Theorems, Superposition theorem, Voltage and Current Devider formulas etc. Besides Electronic Devices like Diodes, Transistors (both BJTs and Fets) , ICs, Filters, Oscillators, Gates, Flip-flops, counters and registers were also included in the test. In addition to these topics were asked about the Machines (Generators, Motors, Transformers etc).

The paper consisted for 100 MCQs from the said topics. If your friend prepare from the books "A Text Book of Electrical Engineering by M.HANDA" and " A Text book of Electronic Engineering by M.HANDA", he would find the paper a piece of cake. I mean, in our case the entire paper was designed from these books. Regards
The topics were:
1. Power Generation
2. Power Distribution
3. Power Transmission
4. AC DC MaCHINES
5. RF Amplifiers
6. Oscillators
7. Electrical Electronic Circuits
8. Semiconductor Devices
9. Analog Electronics
10. Digital Electronics
