@enlightened
dear, theoratically u r 100% right....... the way justice iftkhar is removed is condemnable & he should b restored............ but what about the practical aspect. if he is not given pension & other benefits of retirement, from where he will run his family.... All of us know that life of officials go on monthly salary and if salary is stopped, life becomes a nightmare 4 honest officials, let it b chief justice.......... moreover, the planning of an honest official after retirement much depends on the monitary previliges given at the end of service, if all of them r stopped at the end of the day, he comes in a thick soup........ yes, the pension is not imp 4 the movement against musharraf, but it does matter 4 ch. iftikhar's family, 4 his school going daughter, and his seriously ill son.
if u r sad on this news, u ve full right to do so, but i m extremely happy on this news coz in this way, he will b getting all the priviliges of a retired chief justice till his last breath & he will not b dependent on anyone else 4 petty monitary issues (if he is not restored)
