What Imran Khan is doing is above the spirit of constitution, against the democratic norms, in-proportionate vis-a-vis the sins of Mian sab, and would definitely not lead to either a true revolution or a genuine systemic change. But, since he has the guts to think and try the impossible, let it be, as this land of the pure is a political circus anyway. He and his followers deserve this chance much more then other political pygmies. The soldiers don't seem interested in ousting Mian sab, but they do want to cut the PML down to size, thus making it more amenable to their demands regarding security-policy and release of Musharraf. Nothing would have happened if Mian sab were a little more shrewd and a little less paranoid. IK know nothing of politics and statecraft, but dare to go for everything and anything owing to his perseverance and charisma. Our politicos have all the Machiavellian qualities except the said two. As for the genuine revolution, honestly speaking, this very system and the collective psyche of its people are tailored for either mobocracy or monarchy. If a few people led by IK have set out to change the system, all respect to them, even if they fail. I personally would prefer and appreciate the dreamer who lost over the mean realist who won !!!
