Default CSS with Job

I am 27, one last attempt at CSS. Currently working from 6am to 8.30 pm (includes the traveling time to Kasur and back). With such over drained hours, am unable to squeeze out anything for prep. I only get weekends off.

I don't know what to do. Am facing this dilemma whether to quit a good job for CSS. If you ask my preference, first is to be a CSP officer, second get a PhD and join academia. So technically am not exactly benefiting from the corporate job except for money and filling in my time with work experience.

I dearly want to quit my job because every single day is a reminder that am one more day closer to killing off my dream for something I don't even believe in, corporate job. But am scared and fearful of the uncertainty after my last CSS exam, what am gona do then. Find a job ? Sure, but when will I get it, no one know, if am lucky, maybe next week or maybe another 6 months, I don't know and this is what is scaring me and holding me back.

I have thought about it a lot, did research, talked to people. They all say quit it if you really want it. Thing is I really do want it but the uncertainty and the odds now considering only 4 months are left, don't know what to do.

Based on evaluation from reputable CSS instructors, I have been advised that I can do it. That I understand things analytically and can form an opinion. But then again, with CSS there is no guarantee.

I have come to a point where I want to take a decision. Indecisiveness is a killer and I feel it every day. Don't wana drag it any more.

So here I am, pouring everything out. What I would like is to hear back your opinion and ideas on it. It's the different perspective that can alter your decision and thinking.

Thanks for reading this all.
