Dear. It is a usual that Masters in Journalism is not offered for the Private Students by the varsities. Same case was with the PU. Until 2013 session, PU was not offering Masters in Journalism to private candidates. For proof see the ad : http://pu.edu.pk/home/section/exam/3189
But, according to my knowledge, some recommendations have been made in the PU's syndicate's recent meeting about the inclusion of Journalism Masters degree for private candidates but the notification has not been issued yet.
It would be better to contact PU's registration branch for confirmation, directly.
