Nope kalat was not granted independence. Mir naseer khan baruhi's rebellion failed and he was pardoned and reconciled by Ahmad shah abdali. Kalat had to pay annual tribute to Afghans and had to provide a contingent of baloch soldiers for the military expeditions of afghans. Ahamd shah abdali was generous and he took the cousin of mir naseer khan as wife and granted Quetta and dhadar to kalat as gift.
