If the topic is vague, we should begin by definition or elucidating it
An apt quotation forms a good beginning

An essay should in general be as impersonal as possible
Quality – not quantity (it is quality and not the quantity that matters)
Rewrite your essay by correcting your mistakes on a neat register
No “ism” e.g Humanism, Existentialism(because these are generally different schools of thought or theories) except Terrorism and Nationalism
Avoid to attempt one word essay e.g. economy (In case you have an option)
