Tell me why did Houthis topple an elected government in Yemen? Some people are of the view that Pakistan cannot stay neutral in such a scenario. They say Houthis are backed by Iran and they illegally toppled the Yemen government. Now Saudi Arabia while condemning this act also fears that the minority there in Saudi can also rise up and challenge their kingship. So basically it is a sectarian war. Now Pakistan cannot follow the policy of non-alignment since it has better "economic" ties with Saudi. Second, religiously too, Pakistan is more likely to help the Saudis than Iranians or the houthis.

What are your views on it? I would say if Saudis are our brothers so are Iranians and hence we must stay neutral. What I would like to know is why did the houthis topple an elected legal government, hmm.
