if resignation is not accepted by the competent authority with any remarks whatsoever, a government servant can challenge the same letter containing the remarks in the service tribunal after preferring departmental appeal to the appellate authority. this is the only solution otherwise a government servant would liable to disciplinary proceedings for absence from duty, which also includes dismissal and as a result of dismissal, a government servant's career would be destroyed and he would be unable to join any government department.
