I also wanted to use this travel grant under the cultural exchange category but unfortunately they only accommodate higher education institutes employees. So applicants who have applied for Masters cannot avail this facility. PhD applicants can avail under the PhD category. Someone mentioned on fb that HEC has fixed Rs 40k for one side travel to China.
ii- You will get award letter from your university or CSC through IPC, use its copy. But travel grant is available only for accredited university so confirm from HEC that your university is included.
v- Go to a registered travel agent and ask him to make a quote of PIA ticket on its official letter head for Islamabad/Lahore/Peshawar/Quetta/Karachi(whichever is applicable to you) to Beijing. Quote should mention class of travel(Economy), price in PKR, date of travel.
