I truly agree to the poor level of our higher education system. Most Phds are taking handsome pays for courses which they have prepared 10 to 15 years ago, when they were initially appointed. Afterwards, they teach from a small note book, in which they have made their notes; there is no creativity and new work in the courses taught. Consequently, students get demotivated and they just want to clear their semesters or annual exams. They have to do it by learning the same notebook of the teacher. Thus they learn or cram it and make it through the final exams. This is something which is repeated over the years. Similarly, the culture of research is supposed to increase rather it is declining. And many research papers are published on the names of teachers or supervisors but the main work on the paper is done by the student. Students get their names as co-authors in the papers.
I don't know how and when will out system get on track of revival.
