Sports have important role in maintaining good relations with other countries. In case of Pakistan, majority of people is cricket enthusiast, so it is plus point. we can exploit this tool to establish cordial relations with our neighbors - India, Afghanistan.
There is no other game but cricket which is adored by masses of both of the countries, so we should rectify the maladies- you mentioned: corruption, favoritism etc- instead of banning cricket, if we want to see any productivity, which is hidden so deep under the debris of corruption and favoritism that you cannot see.
