dil behelta hai kahaan anjum-o-mehtaab se bhi
ab toh hum laug bhi gaye deeda bekhwaab se bhi

rau parra hoon toh koi baat he aisi ho gi
mein keh waqif tha tere hijr ke aadaab se bhi

kuch toh os aankh ka shewa hai khafa ho jaana
aur kuch bhool hui hai dil-e-betaab se bhi

aye samandar ki hawa tera karam bhi maaloom
pyaas saahil kii toh bujhti nahi sailaab se bhi

kuch toh os husn ko jaaney hai zamaana saara
aur kuch baat chali hai mere ahbaab se bhi
