I am from Sillanwali (Distt Sargodha). My interview was very good. It was in Lahore RHQ, 2nd floor at 3 pm. there were 3 men. 2 were marking on some papers may be grading and 1 was asking Questions. Questions was:
your introduction
your family background (what does father do? how many sisters n brothers have you and what they do? have your any sister married?)
Will u continue job after marriage?
And then He come towards my Parda (Vail), Like why u do this etc. and sood b haram hai tu phir sood wali job q karain gi ap.
And that was it.
it was very nice experience.
I asked about result they said till 1st March or in 1st week of March.

Well, one thing is sure that they are just checking integrity, determination, confidence and availability in any of the work location rather than academic background and skills. Allah knows what is their target employee and I hope and confirmed from one of the UBL Manager that they will hire maximum people in this under process RBO's program. Inshaa Allah we all shortlisted candidates have maximum chance of selection. :):) Best of luck

You are right Shahneel Ahmed,Well i had my interview in Lhr Regional office, not received call yet as selection is still in process, but they asked me whether you will work in front or back office, it indicate that they have the criteria for putting the candidates in operations as well as sales.

Well warda, as it is a retail bank officer job, the job description of which includes opening and closing different accounts, answering queries and discuss banking products and services with customers. The RBO has nothing to do with cash, I have confirmed job description from one of my known UBL manager.

My interview was on 23rd feb, Thursday at UBL Davis Road lahore. There were two men and a lady. They started the questionnaire by simply asking me that tell us about your family and ur academic qualification. All of them were very coperative and humble. The lady was asking most of the questions. They asked me about my siblings, father occupation, father income, about home etc.,
Overall it was good. There were no accounting or economics questions just simple and general knowledge questions.

but there is a confusion with me. That im doing BBA hnrs. Its my last sem. and have completed two years of becholars as well with a good cgpa and submitted my partial transcript also. But the lady said that our requirement is 16 year education. Now my question is that if their requirement is 16 year education then why did they shortlisted me for the final interview because i applied for this job on the basis of my two year BBA. I explained them this fact then they said that we'll clarify it then contact you. what you guys think about this???:?

my interview was on 21st feb in isalmabad.they asked me whether i will join ubl as a cash officer or not.now i m confused that they have announced jobs of sales and opertions then why thae asked me for cash officer...any idea?:wacko::wacko::wacko:

They also asked me this question that whether you will be willing to work as a cash officer or not?? I said no. then he said that it doesn't matter because sometimes branch manager have to do the task of cash officer then i said i can handle in that situation but not as a permanent cash officer

I think they wanted to judge the psychi of the candidate by asking this question

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree(1st Division or High 2nd Division) preferably in the Following discipline:

1.Commerce
2.Mathematics & Statistics
3.Economics
4.Business Administration
Who can say that now it should be 4 years bachelors, as according to my knowledge BSc in Mathematics and statistics is a two year bachelors degree all over Pakistan, so they have to revise this job posting for applying this new rule as you have been told by them.

Thanksssssss :) but that lady was insisting me that our requirement is 16 year education. I told them that i have applied as two years becholar not honours.

And in interview today there were almost more than 35 candidates

it seems ubl has called a large no of candidates for interview lets see whats happen.with me they discuss about customer care officer means they asked me how i will handle a situation .in my opinion they are searching candidates for different positions.

Obviously there would be a difference between salary packages depending upon the job designations. Actually i refused to take the job for cash officer because i've applied for RBO. Alrite, And most personally i don't find the job of cash officer suitable for girls. It is my personal view.

at the end of my interview, he asked me" app ubl ki is job k baray main ya kisi aur cheez k baray main janana chatay ho" aur phr panel nay muj say kah k 2 saal k bond b hota hai, app job chor kar to nai jao gay, kya yeh positive sign hain ya nai, they told me that result will be before 1st march.....

Around 50-60 posts ago, 2 members of this forum claimed that they recieved a call from UBL HR in Karachi on Thursday Evening (23rd Feb). They were called for medical on 24th Feb according to that post. So is it true? Have they already called candidates from Karachi for medical?

Ali it might be not true because i don't think it is a valid post as the last day for interviews in all over Pakistan was 24 Feb , you should confirm from UBL HR Karachi for this. Best of luck

they have done with the Medical of Khi & Heyd region candidates. u can confirm it from Head Office Khi.

total no of seats are 69. in which 9 are for Peshawar region, one of the ubl employee tell me during test....
