%change*100/Cost price..?= % profit

February is said to have 28 days except every four years it has 29 days..
as far as i know i have read it in any GK book...

this is kind of a tricky question.

Actually only one month has 28 days , this is February (excluding addition of one day at leap year time)


but all months have 28 days , so the answer can be 12 or 'all of them'.

A car travelled 100km with half the distance at 40km/hour and other half 80km/hour.find the average speed of the car for whole journey...

A shopkeeper buys 300 identical articles at a total cost of Rs:1500.He fixes the selling price of each article at 20% above price and sells 260 articles at this price,As for the remaining articles he sells them at 50% of selling price,calculate the total profit of shopkeeper?
Answer with solution will be appreciated...

Answer is 160.
price of one pice= 1500/300 = 5
20% of 5 is = 1
sale of 260= 6*260 = 1560
50% of 5= 2.5
sale of 40 pice= 2.5*40= 100
total sale= 1660
profit= 1660-1500=160

If 60 workers can build 4 houses in 12 months, how many workers would be required to build 6 houses in 4 months?

the answer is 270 workers required..
Solve this using ratio method.
