Total man hours = 50*12*6= 3600
Now there is explicitly written that twice as great the work needs to be done therefore 3600 man hours *2 = 7200 man hours

Now work to be done = 7200 man hours
no of days =16
men available =60

therefore 7200 men hours = Hours per day*16days*60men
hours per day = 7200 men hours /960 =7.5 hours per day Answer

7.5 Hours per day is the answer

1) if a:b = 1:2, then b:c = 2:3, a:b:c will be ?
a:b= 1:2 b:c= 2:3
a*b(1*2)=2 ,b*b (2*2)=4 ,b*c(2*3)=6
a:b:c= 2:4:6
a:b:c= 1:2:3

2)if a:b = 3:5, then b:c = 5:5, a:b:c will be ?
a:b= 3:5, b:c=5:5
a*b(3*5)=15, b*b(5*5)=25, b*c(5*5)=25
a:b:c= 15:25:25
a:b:c= 3 :5 :5

3)if a:b = 4:9, then b:c = 12:5, a : B : C will be ?
a:b= 4:9, b:c= 12:5
a*b(4*12)=48, b:b= 9 & 12 so L.C.M is 36, b*c(9*5)=45
a:b:c= 48:36:45
a:b:c= 16:36:15

lets suppose few apples = x
he further buy 12 more apples.
so equation would be
x + 12 (incomplete equation)
the he ate 2 apples,
x+12 - 2
the result is twice the apples he originally had, so
x + 12 -2 = 2x
x + 10 = 2x
2x - x = 10
x = 10

he originally bought 10 apples.
