Timing of the test shall be from 100 a.m to 120 p.m. as mentioned on the web site.

1. 20 men can do a job in 40 days after how many days should 5 men leave so that the remaning men finish the remaning job in 20 days.


2. The average increase in the karachi stock exhange index on monday, tuesday and wednesday was 150 points per day and average increase in this index on tuesday wednesday and thursday was 250 points per day. If the increase in the index on monday was 100 points, what was the increase in the index on thursday.

I am always found it difficult to solve these questions so wont attempt for it.

But this one goes like this in my view.

Monday = M
Tuesday= T
Wednesday= W
Thursday= Th

Made two equations like:
(M+T+W)/3 = 150
M+T+W= 150 * 3
M+T+W=450----------Eq 1

(T+W+Th)/3 = 250
T+W+Th = 250 * 3
T+W+Th = 750--------Eq 2

Now From Equation 1
M+T+W=450
here, M= 100
Therefore,
100+T+W=450
=> T+W=350 Put this value in Eq 2

T+W+Th = 750
here T+W=350
so,
350+Th= 750
Th= 750-350

Th=400

It might be wrong, so do correct it if you find any mistake.
