Today, I got call from Askari Bank Karachi. The guy asked if I applied for MTO, when i replied in affirmative, he asked whether I'm interested in being a retail banking officer as they are now selecting candidates for that position. I asked for the job specifics, he said it is OG II, as opposed to OG I; which is the grade for MTO's, with salary package being between 25+ to 30+; that is what I heard (there was distortion and voice breakage) and after training, the candidates will be posted in various branches across departments as Credit, Operations and likes. He just wanted to have my consent which I gave and now he will call me later. He also said if I am working anywhere else, I should not apply; found it a bit weird as it shouldn't it be my choice?? but that's y opinion, maybe it is not that weird And yeah, there will be no interviews nothing.. I think they are selecting by merit ofcourse those who did not make it to the MTO.. he said interview waghera sub tou apka hochka haina when I asked if interview will be conducted..
Did any one else receive any such call? I see no related post by anyone.. Is this for real? I mean in that case there should have been more such posts on the forum but seems like I'm the first one talking about this thing..
