A Flat increment of Rs 2K will be given after the completion of 1st year and that'll increase gradually as the years increase. seeing 25k during training is a handsome amount but it stays the same for a year or so which is unfair as every bank upgrades the pay scale after training. all this have been told by mates in Batch 41 and 42.

solely an operations based job. All branch operations except tellers and business development officers would be assigned to a TBO.

Anyone here who has done an internship at MCB please share your experience. that'll help in creating a picture of the culture at MCB and the inside staff

i have just started teaching in university as visiting faculty, so i am confused that either to join banking sector or just continue the university.

Can any one sketch the exact picture of working at mcb, so that i can easily decide. i am worried about the work hours of banking.........

no account targets. teaching as a visiting faculty has any future?? next year some others will replace you. if you want your career as a teacher then carry on with teaching other join MCB, posting will be in your city

first of all make your mind, you must be clear in mind what actually you want to do keeping in mind all about yourself, i mean family expectations and your goal in life etc

What are the Promotion chances? We will be promoted to which post directly after TBO and can we get promotion during these 3 years bond or we will work as TBO for three years without any increase in salary??

You will be promoted to Operations Manager after three years but some TBO's are promoted after 2 years to operations managers on performance basis. And salary will be up to 35k or more.

I suggest you to continue your teaching career ... TBO is just waste of time ... i resigned 2 years back during my initial training phase ... salaries are less and promotion prospects are bleak in MCB. In banking sector Job timings and work pressure is always killing but big banks like MCB, this factor becomes more troublesome.
