Internal guy, at a really good position. But the link to him through a big chain so i am usually skeptical about what i get to know. Then again, 1 thing he got right from the start that to expect result around feb-march, too unrealistic when i heard it but now it looks like he was on mark.

About merit, that person also said that a certain poltical party got to play a good role in these hirings. And this whole abnormal delay seems like a good idea that we might forget about the job or get disinterested and they just hire any1 they like. i just wish that inital screening test merit is set so high that the influencers dont reach a stage that they can get a foot in.

Anyways, lets just hope rumours are fake and also that we get to see the result soon. And weekend also ended so, we can hope to look some news or a letter in our mail *starts dreaming*. fingers crossed

Talking about merit based hiring, I believe that merit will hold value for this position, because in my interview, I mentioned about my internship which I did at NBP a few years back. I shared my experience with them about the staff being lethargic and lazy and not eager to learn and improve things to which on of the executives responded by saying: "Bhai ab bhi yehi haal hai yehan ky staff ka" which gave me a hint that they want to bring a change by hiring quality staff.
