You cannot justify that as no one was allowed to use calculator so it is fair. It should not happen in the first place.

They can give test from anywhere but IBP is a prestigious institution of the country. It should design an original test and should avoid copy paste. It does not lack resources as test was not free. 800 per student is more than enough for preparing an original test keeping in view the objective of gauging the General metal abilities of candidates. In this case, if they made difficult test. No issue at all. But what they did is really unfair.
i solved the paper in given time, just took 50-55 mins to solve maths portion and i don't have calculator with me.
Yes agree that every department should design paper and avoid copy paste but that's not happening in Pakistan so you cannot say that only IBP copy pastes. The only thing which i think unfair was to allow all category students to apply and then add Banking term in english as well as GK portion.

You didn't answer my question. Why GRE, SAT allow calculators in there exams?

Yes, there was some mismanagement ob IBP's part. Paper should have been prepared by themselves. But yes, like Ali, I also did the maths portion, taking about 70 minutes and there would be many more who would have done it too. Banking portion was was a disadvantage but they had to include something related to concerned subject. It would have been better though if they had informed beforehand that banking part would be there. Personally, that portion might make me ineligible. If the cutoff is 15, I have a 50-50 chance. If it's 60, I am definitely out.

Well this was not GRE or SAT. They didn't allow calculators and it was level playing field for everyone. I am sorry but calculations were not that big that one couldn't cross 15 in that part. I am expecting a good score there and the other poster also just posted that he's did the complete portion in 50-55 minutes.

So you think that there was mistake in the instruction portion of paper, allowing SIMPLE calculators. :p & by the way Did you ever appear in GRE test? I think this was your first ever test because you can't judge the level difference..

I have given GRE, with a score of perfect 170 in quantitative section. I can provide you with roll number if you have any doubts.

Maths portion was tough and many will fail it. But, overall, the paper was doable. I think that SBP wanted finance guys this time round.
