I just can out of interview. It didn't go well. I was super-confused. Questions for me were all general, family etc. I think Mr Chairman was bit angry with my confusion. No economics or subject related questions for me. I think this is the end of line for me. Good luck to others.

why did you get confuse? what was the matter?

Started with a chat about my current job. . .panel was very polite. . .they asked 90% of questions in Urdu (they never do this usually). . .some questions I remember are:
1- Basil Accords
2- Business risks
3- Banking risks
4- Interest rate risk
5- Some questions regarding Monetary Policy
6- My personal weaknesses
7- About SBP
it was a 15 minutes interview.

Bro. Nothing special. They asked me that if you have marketing major, why should they hire me? My answer was not very convincing. My answer was" Sir main mehnat karun ga, and I will get a degree in economics". It doesn't seem to me like its a convincing answer. Rest of my interview was overshadowed by this blunder. My interview was also very short like 7-9 minutes, when other candidates were having 15 minutes interview.

Everything aside, it was a great experience and I will be ready InshAllah for the next SBOTs batch, if the age limit is 28

Panel welcomed me and direct me to sit on the chair.. I said Salam.. they asked about me how I was doing? I said Alhamdulillah.. then they asked me about my current activities. I told them I am doing MS in Finance. then they asked me about.
1. Derivatives and its types and examples.
2. Difference between future and forward contracts.
3. Open Market Operations and their impact on economy. Securities in OMO
4. MCR current figures.
5. Financial Inclusion and its ratio in Pakistan
6. BASEL (didn't know about that told them plainly)
7. Then asked me about Islamic banking. Difference between Mudarbah and Musharka and how it is differentiated from conventional banking.
8. IRR NPV WACC
9. Why do you want to join SBP.
thats all I remember.. interview was about 20 21 minutes almost.. went very well Alhamdulillah... need your prayers.. and May Allah bless you all. Ameen
