He probably wanted to avoid the next logical question. You would have asked where you stand in that list, and no one wants to answer that before official announcement of result.

Result will be out most probably after Eid. They still haven't decided how many candidates to select. After that number is decided, quota will be applied. Then, the list of selected candidates will be audited. If audit has no objections, list will be forwarded to Governor for approval.

I have a friend from SBOTS 17. The whole process will take at least 2 weeks, assuming everything goes as normal.

As per previous trends SBP takes 2.5 to 3 months after last interview date. My interview was on 14 May, after interview I asked from Mr. Younis regarding final selection he said "isi maah bta daen gy InshaAllah"

It has been only 1.5 month since last interview. I would be very surprised if it is announced this week or even the next. The process of implementing quota itself takes a week, and they have not even begun.
