Hello everybody. I had a little confusion at the time when i received the offer letter as i am already working at a pretty reasonable place in lahore. I still have my apprehensions vis-a-vis living in karachi. But when I think that this is the job i ve been longing for quite some time now and this is the field i had made my future plans around, all the confusions and apprehensions suddenly disappear. I understand why it is making us all think abt pursuing our dream job twice. It is unfortunately the timing of this offer but had it been offered to us a year ago, would we have been as confused as we r now? i think, the answer is NO. Since i can only speak for myself, I take a lot of pride in accepting this offer and am looking forward to venturing into a career that I had planned for myself.

mr. Mudassar ali kh. sir have you figured out how you ll manage living in karachi? as in the pay isnt enough to cover a lot and the letter says nothing about accomodation being provided at subsidized value to officials, no mention of requisition .... so.. how do we go about that ?

Can you please tell me the SBP HR email adress other than on website which is not working. I need to ask about a detailed query..........Please help me.

I have already mentioned that i am only speaking for my self. I know it is going to be quite tough initially for us as far as living in karachi is concerned. But if someone has planned a career in central banking or want to use it as a stepping stone for something else, i think its worth giving a shot. It varies from person to person so i wont recommend to generalize wat i think.

I have talked to HR dept SBP yesterday..They do povide a girls hostel just near workplace at vey nominal charges..i guess charging only for electricity..check again with HR..
