Very miser approach hasvbeen adopted by the candidates who have been thru their GD n interview.ok .. Nobody share.. Nobody help any one.. All prepare urself for ur fate.

appeared for GD today.. a total of 40 to 50 candidates.. groups of 6 members each as far as i know..
my group was 2nd..
6 members.. topic: "Trade with India - Good or Bad"

we started off with jotting down individual points and then the panel asked us to start discussion..
a guy started the topic.. very humbly.. all listened.. then at one point he finished and another started.. then the 3rd guy added points.. i started talking at 4th number.. gave a couple of points and agreed to the points of couple of guys.. 5th guy came in.. he spoke and gave some facts..
discussion continued between the 5 of us.. 6th one was listening at that time.. then he stared and repeated the points of two of us.. and added a little of his own.. later we concluded the topic.. saying its good..

we were all of the same opinion.. just took out a few bad parts of trade with india and suggested solutions.. at the end we said trade would be benficial in multiple ways..

result.. 5 out of 6 made through to the PI, including me..

a total of 26 candidates were shortlisted for PI..

panel was same as the observers in GD.. strong panel it was..
it took around 15 to 25 minutes per candidate.. asked about my MBA.. my jobs.. description of what i did.. then interests.. then monetary policy things.. how much do i know about that.. reading habits.. why interested in joining the central bank of Pak..
then economic issues.. power issues.. of the county. asked me about the Gas issues as i am in SNGPL..
then a couple of finance related stuff.. IRR NPV etc.. (i am bad at this.. also bad at monetary policy) :p
then the HR stuff.. as i said i had taken a couple of course of HR.. he asked about performance appraisal.. performance management.. what motivates me etc ..
they crossed questioned to a few things as well..

interviews are still going on.. i was on serial no. 6.. but appeared at 9th as 3 of the people had some reasons to leave early so the panel allowed them to appeared early..

total 26 would be appearing today for PI.. lets see kb tk free hongay log..

oh and yes.. other topics for GD..

as far as i remember.. there was a topic relating to Long march, one relating to democracy vs dictatorship, one relating to IMF.. others just went out of mind.. as soon as i get them, i will add.

i felt totally out of shape and practice when they asked me in depth finance questions. infact most interviewees in karachi did. but atleast we could respond to job related questions well

Our GD topic was engaging with IMF good or bad for Pak,another topic was role of cable tv,after gd i went for interview around 7.00 pm--i think you can expect what would be my status who left home 6 in the morning---i was not in an ideal condition for the interview.they asked me about my future planning and what i had been doing after graduating after sep 12, i mentioned about my plans to pursue doctrate and it became harder for me to justify how both would go hand in hand.i think it was wrong mentioning that there.then some questions from marketing side & financial ration specially efficiency ratios etc,this js what i could hardly recall
