Finally, yesterday I went through my interview at SBP Islamabad center. It was a panel interview. Members were very cooperative and a little bit informal. They did not irritate me in any aspect yet it was a thorough and long interview and they supported me as well. They asked me following questions after welcoming me:
1. Tell us something about yourself, what you have done, where you from, your school days, interests, hobbies?
2. Do you know about the nature of this job?
3. You know its not an executive level position, you will need to count notes and all this stuff, what are your views about this?
4. What do you know about SBP-BSC? Functions of SBP and BSC separately.
5. What is KIBOR and why it is used?
6. Tell us something about open market operations of SBP?
7. Current rate of interest?
8. Monetary policy?
9. Tools of monetary policy used by SBP?
10. In your views, what is the main economic problem of Pakistan? and if you will be given a chance, how would you tackle this?
11. Tell us something special about your city?
12. What will you do if we place you in Quetta? (I said no i won't join)
13. What is distance of SBP-BSC field office from your home in your city?
14. Have you ever visited SBP-BSC in your city? how did you find it?
15. Have you ever done any job? (I said I have done an internship)
16. How did you find the interaction of SBP with the public sector commercial bank where you were an intern?

Islamabad center: Interviews of short listed candidates have been held on 7th & 8th April, 2014.

Karachi center: Interviews of short listed candidates will be held on 17th April, 2014.

Lahore center: Interviews will be scheduled in due course.

Total number of candidates interviewed at ISLAMABAD center were 28. any one knows total from KHI???

anyone knows about the total number of seats of junior officer from lahore?

only 28 candidates were interviewed in 2 days?? strange

they were 28 on april 8. 30 had already been interviewed on april 7.
so total were around 60.
