The Question which many have mistakenly taken as
x^2 = 4
was
x^(1/2) or SQUARE ROOT OF X EQUALS FOUR (but the 1/ of 1/2 was not clearly visible, so it appeared like x^2 to many)
=>X^1/2 = (16)^1/2
now squaring both sides
=>x = 16
again squaring both sides
=>x^2 = 16^2
=>x^2 = 256

Yes it was tough, I couldnt comprehend 25/30 GK questions but one should keep in mind that it was banking sector job, so it was very much expected that questions would come from Banking/commerce to give MBA/MCOM students a bit edge on others. For that we can't blame NTS or SBP. They didn't force us to apply & if we want Pakistan to Prosper, our Banking sector needs to be provided with able employees with proper know how of the job. I know a lot of you will disagree with me but disagreement is beauty of life. Stay blessed all & best of luck with results.

Dear i do not understand what are you talking about.....
if they want MBAs or other business graduate....they should have mentioned it in the advertisement.....they are just collecting money from the unemployed youth....
For your kind information pakistan prosperity does not lie only with banking sector....there are some other sectors which should focus....SBP and NTS are responsible...if they promise something then they should and must provide to the students....it is our right to have a say against such ridiculous test.....

Default NTS, what a shame!

I agree with the people complaining about GK, that was total rubbish. I expected some 8-10 questions finance or banking sector related but not a bull**** like that. That was just a shameful act to keep non-finance, non-banking sector related people out of the equation. GK portion should've been named Economic and Finance Knowledge rather than General Knowledge. I am not complaining about the inclusion of Finance or Economics related questions but they should have informed us that GK section will totally be related to these. We were misinformed, misguided. Their eligibility criteria should've been atleast MBA or MCom or something Finance and Economics related degree so that non-related people stay out of this but instead they opted to cheat people, fool people and robbed people of their money and for that they owe an apology. Do the math, 10,000 people, Rs 800 from each and what was the cost on each person i guess no more than Rs 150 maximum. Imagine the profit for fooling so many people. No wonder robbing people is profitable business!!!

No brother they (NTS) never change questions. It was x^1/2. At first glance, I also took it as x^2
but then when I took a closer look, it was clear as crystal x^1/2. We all were hard done by GK section. Atleast they could have added few other than Banking/commerce questions or they should have stated earlier that it will be only Banking/commerce knowlege section. Guess what mystery will be awaiting us for NTS AD MoD paper
