Dear Bahawal, this query has already been addressed in previous posts of the same thread. Please make sure you take out sometime for reading past posts too.

As for your query, you'll receive interview call if you have qualified NTS test, meet other criterion as mentioned in the ad and have applied to SBP BSC, before last date to do so.

Hi Everyone,

The interviews for OG1 Junior Officer SBP are approaching. In this regard, I have gone through some of the posts from our senior member RAZ and other members who were interviewed last year. Apart from that, as per my experience, I have complied an up to date list of questions and topic areas that need to be covered for interview.

Please remember that these areas are the most important. However, no one is sure about the actual content of the interview. Hence, take them as benchmarks/most likely questions. The reason for posting these topic areas is that after their preparation you will certainly feel more confident. Your degree related questions are not included in them. You must prepare them separately.

General Questions:
Tell us about yourself. Introduce yourself. Why do you want to join Sbp BSC? Details about your current job, nature of work. Why do you deserve this position? How can you contribute to this organization? What are the strengths and weaknesses of this organization? What are your 5 strengths and 5 weaknesses? Why do you end up doing this degree? Etc

Degree Related Questions:
What were the major courses/subjects of your degree? In how many courses did you get A, F. Revise the major concepts of all those courses in which you secured good marks/grades. Revise major subjects of your bachelors or masters. Other questions relating to your low or high GPA. Revise the concepts of your major subject. Like HR people should revise all major concepts relating to it, they can ask anything ranging from job description to job analysis and MBO. Likewise, finance degree holders should know everything ranging from IRR, beta, NPV to collateralization and other concepts. They might select one of your courses and ask about it.

10: Currency Issuance: Principles of currency issuance (banking vs currency principle). What are the methods of currency issuances (fixed judiciary system, proportional reserve system, and minimum reserve requirement). Which method is applied in Pakistan. Which one of the methods was applied till 1965. MRR for currency issuance in Pakistan. Locations of printing presses. What is the currency in circulation. Does it include currency in the vaults of the banks. What is narrow money. What is M1,M2 and M3. Their constituents. What is the ratio of gold kept as reserves in Pakistan. Is currency in circulations asset/liability for SBP. What about the currency not yet circulated, is it asset/liability. What are the functions of currency. Rupee is linked to which currency.
