Hope you are doing well. I wanted to know the difference between a division and a department at SBP.

I have scored 69 in the written test....where I stands ?? Whether all students who have cleared written will be invited for interview or there will be short listing for interview calls ??? Someone having knowledge about this RPLY......

If you have QUALIFIED the test and meet other criteria as mentioned in the ad (age, academic marks, etc), you will receive interview call.

Yes I have Qualified the test.....26,26 and 17 respectively ......and I meets all required criteria....I am worried if I will receive interview call or not.

1) Gandalf Sir, if you know the difference between a department and division at SBP, please elaborate.
2) How long should the people of Lahore wait for the interview? The last date of receiving of applications was January 12.
3) Having a degree in Economics, what are the pet areas/questions of the interviewers?

1) A Department is a part of SBP which is assigned specific functions generally, such as Human Resource Management Department (HRMD) in SBP-BSC looks after nearly all HR related affairs of the Bank, whereas within HRMD, various divisions look after specific sub-functions, such as: Talent Resourcing Division (or Recruitment & HR Planning Division) is tasked with HR planning and recruitment of staff for all SBP-BSC. Similarly, Career Development Division in HRMD is tasked with employees' postings/transfers/retirements, job rotations, succession planning, promotions, and performance evaluation, etc.

2) At present, HRMD is busy with recruitment of YPIP-4 Batch, as that program was announced earlier. I think your interviews will be held in February or March latest. (BTW I hope it gets earlier)

3) Interviewers normally ask general questions, such why you want to join SBP, and few other things about SBP (functions, SBP Act year, difference between SBP and SBP-BSC etc.,). However, you must expect them to ask some technical questions too and knowing that you're an economics graduate, your interview may also center around eco questions. So, revise some major terms in economics and build your knowledge about Pak economy (key figures will suffice). Wish you all best of luck.
