Default Advice for young aspirant?

I'm a young aspirant only 16 right now. I wish to improve my wit in order to appear for the examination when I'm capable. My reading, knowledge on current affairs, and Pakistan affairs are quite good. Although, my English needs a bit improvement I guess I have much time to spare. I already top my exams and my knowledge is a cut above average so... I wish to ask anyone who has even a little experience with CSS examination, how can I hone my skills so that
when it's my time I wont have any difficulty? Thanks for reading such a long thread. Regards.

You have enough time on your hands. Start reading DAWN daily, check Guardian/BBC/CNN regularly as well and take an interest in things that happen in the world. Watch english channels, movies, programs on discovery channel etc. If you can manage, go to some English speaking country and try to communicate and live with those people for a year or two, that will really help you practically. Improve English as much as you can by any means, hire an English teacher and take lessons from him on a weekly basis, write a lot and get it checked by a competent person. Join British Council as they have really good programs for English learning. Try to make English speaking friends online and that will also help you a lot. Also, study some optional subjects slowly and steadily, that will greatly increase your knowledge and understanding of the world and at the same time, prepare you for CSS exams in the future.

I really like your attitude towards life,I think your habit of reading would take you quite far,
All the world's leaders were first world's readers.
I will suggest you what I do
Have a general curious attitude towards life, try to know why is sky blue,Why are clouds white. Why the sun shines."Why?" is the thing you have to focus on.Read good books and spend your time watching English channels.
Your English is REALLY good for a sixteen year old,(I'm a little jealous) and it will improve on its own with time.Listen to English songs they are the best part of learning English.
Are you in school or college?
Wherever you are be the best.Don't accept second best.Don't try to read optionals you will only make your brain go mad.
And remember CSS isn't everything. In the end, even if you don't choose be a CSS officer. The world is big and who knows you are the next Bill Gates or Warren Buffet or Dr.Qadeer.
Read self help books they change your general attitude towards life,The book I would like to suggest is,"Seven habits of highly effective people".You have internet you can find it easily.
