I want to know in detail how do CSS aspirants on their own
Or by joining any academy
Prepare a subject/s from A to Z
Subjects which have never been studied by them before.

It is understandable that An aspirant who is MA in Journalism opts journalism as one of the optionals and within few day declares that 'I have prepared Journalism for CSS'
But if Indo-Pak history is another of the optionals, what sort of routine and approach towards the subject is needed.

Briefly:
Plz share the strategies you people are using to prepare your optionals for CSS.
