I strongly believe that there are two types of people in this situation.

One, that are good enough to get through CE, 28 years are enough for them.

2nd, those people who want/desire it so badly but they don't have what it needs to get through.

A good year of preparation is enough for any average candidate to get prepare himself for the task.

Well i want to add here.I was the youngest (22 years) of my batch fellows when i graduated with a 4 years bachelors degree. With a dream to be civil servant one day i went on to find a job to support my career. fortunatey i found a job at the age 23 years but by the time i was appearing for css i was already past 28 years of age and left with only one chance due to age criteria of 31 dec cut off. i couldnt appear earlier because of the condition posed by my dept to serve at least 5 years before it will grant me NOC .i failed css by 3 marks in islamiat. dont you think i deserve one more chance to prove my mettle but unfortunately i cant because of cruel age limit.

there would be many like me, waiting for age limit to be 32 so that they can fulfill their life long dreams

Aray hum tou 30 ki baat kur rahein hain ;<

Personally I do not think they will even consider putting 32 on the table. Even though I'd probably make it 35 years of age but then again who am I D:

You must have been in the forces because i think all govt employees except forces can get NOC twice in a year to appear in the competitive exams

Go for upto 30 years age relaxation, it would become 32 years for govt. employees as they have 02 years relaxation as compared to general public

jo log age upto 30 years relaxation k haq mai nahy hain, un kay saath ik hi problem hai wo nahy chahtay k kisi ko faeda ho, shayad khud unka is sai koe faaeda nahy ho raha that's why dosro ko bhy nahy honay daitay issue hi kia hai jinko problem hai tho wo beshak 22 years age me hi qualify kar lay leken age limit 30 years hony chaheye
