Cool Wastage of a chance
I have barely four months for preparation of exam as I was busy with masters exam.I would try hard to prepare for css 2018 but if somehow I feel that I am unprepared and I don,t take exams.Would I miss my one chance if I submit application form without taking exam?

No. As long as you don't appear in even one paper , your chance will remain intact.

Please do not worry. There is enough time to prepare. CSS is about smart study. Plan well and start studying. Finally, be brave enough to finalize your decision, whether to take exams or not, by now. If you defer your decision then it will direct your motivation and energy in wrong direction ,and you will end up in not taking the exams.

and i just realized that it's October already ... and here I am , reading the discussions and suggestions ... will start preparing notes from tomorrow ...
4 Months is a good window for preparation (or that's what the seniors told me) ... The seniors suggest smart study (whatever that means, i'll realize in this month) ... so yeah , you are not the only one anxious.
Keep your hopes high and give it a try ...
Another Golden tip by a CSP friend ; there is nothing as such as "Wastage of chance". Prepare the best in four months and the 2018 exam will be a judgement of it . if it goes well , good , if not , at-least it will define your direction
