Default Please guide regarding gpa requirement

Dear all,

I have secured CGPA of 2.49 / 4.00 from NUST. Am I eligible to apply? i have tried to search regarding it on the internet but so far couldn't manage to find anything relevant. All I see is that the applicant must be atleast second division holder. However, I wish to know the equivalency in the GPA system.

Thanks.
JazakAllah

First of all, please try to write a complete message. So than one can answer you in best manner.
You are asking for eligibility, but for what? For any MNC, Bank, recruitment by Fpsc or provincial commision?

Secondly do not start threads with such labels. Please consult forums' rules for guidelines.

If 2nd division is required, you are eligible as 2.49 is 2nd division in universities like uet peshawar, cecos etc. But I've heard that NUST's 2nd division starts from 2.00 and below, in that case you've first divison. You can confirm it from you administration/examination department and can get an equivalency certificate which will help you when applying to posts which requires 1st division. I would advice to repeat a paper and make your CGPA equal to or more than 2.50.
