Default Government employee

If two people become csp with one of them having a prior experience in government sector and other one being unemployed, would there be any difference in their pay or allowances or promotion if they are allotted the same group. To put it simply, is it beneficial in any way to have been a government employee before passing css exam?

being govt employee before joining civil service, it offers you the pay protection advantage and age relaxation for appearing in css exam after attaining a specific length of service.

I define it:

According to present revised pay scale 2011 the initial basic pay for grade 17 is 16,000 Rs. if any govt employee selected as CSP applied through proper Chanel for css exam having presently basic pay at the current scale more than 16000 Rs will definitely eligible for the basic pay more than his / her present level of basic pay.

kindly refer to ESTA CODE for more detail.

You mean to say that only that government employee will have pay advantage as csp if his basic pay is greater than 16000?

To apply for css exam with the approval of competent authority of your department where you are working at the same time submitting DPC to FPSC at prescribed format.
