This term can be used when you focus on particular topics rather then whole books and there are few subject which having trend of change every year i.e. essay, current affairs, and to some extent pakistan affiars. and other subjects are fixed syllabus i.e. everyday science, islamiat, english composition and optionals journalism, sindhi, sociology and many more (i mentioned my optionals) well in both cases you can figure out topics which are most important regarding that particular year, so only prepare them with full length, can prove to be very helpfull in the exam. one more thing is there cramming of pages of pages wont gives you marks, read and understand the mean of the topics would gives you understanding of whole issue and you write on that topic at any length and dimention. to me this is smart work. others may contradict.

Well, "working smartly" amounts to "being organized, tricky, cunning, specific and technical" at the same time- all rolled into one.

Cool for me SMART WORK is

for me SMART WORK is very simple. understanding your subjects and paper pattern of those subjects. then designing a strategy for every subject to know how n where to score. practicing that strategy and planning and finally appearing in exam with the same strategy.

now what did i do in my exams is this simple. my optional were IR, SOCIOLOGY, JOURNALISM, MUSLIM HISTORY and PUSHTO. When i went through the paper trend of these subjects i found one common thing that almost every subject is linked to current affairs and current situation. so i bridged my current affairs to my subjects and believe me once you are successful to bridge your subjects together then your success is sure inshaALLAH. i want to share only single example here. when i went for my first paper that was of essay, i attempted HURDLES FACED BY PAKISTAN TO BECOME AND TRULY INDEPENDENT STATE, why this topic? simple because i had already bridged my Subjects together and i was expecting something like that so because of IR i straight away went with this. my english is not that good so i dont expect very good score in essay but still it was my strategy just to qualify essay and have stretch in other subjects.

this the first example of what i termed as SMART WORK, i hope now it is getting cleared in minds of many. i will share more examples withe reference to other optional and compulsory subjects.

thanks and regards.

ya sure. once you understand the hidden relationship of all the subjects then you need 30 to 40% less time and energy to cover up your subjects. because if you don't have idea then you will for sure go for everything in every subject which demands a huge time and energy indeed. i wish everyone a very best of luck either following this strategy or not.

thanks and regards

...well in my case smart work refers to a little bit ov common sense.....first ov ol...go through the past pprz ov the subjects u hav chosen....u'll see a definite pattern of questions in most ov the cases.....like in geography Paper 1....each year a new landforms question is there.....this kinda prep reduces the burden.....n keep in mind..Journalism is the only subject in CSS which offers u breathing space....again depending upon the pattern ov questions asked as per in past papers....in prepared for journalism in only 4-5 days....
