Default Hafiz Abdul Majeed,

Hafiz Abdul Majeed, ICS, was a senior and a very renowned officer. Known as HA Majeed. He belonged to a poor family of Kasur. His parents were attached to family of Mian Tayyab, CSP; for livelihood.

HA Majeed was a masters in mathematics, and he opted to compete in ICS. He competed with Hindus, Sikhs and Secured First position in ICS examinations. Once his only 2 marks were deducted in Maths paper and he had cried for days. He was such a brilliant person.
In 1932, we has Assistant Commissioner Amritsar. After partition he joined Pakistan Service, and He had the honor to be the First Chief Secretary of Punjab. He had also the additional charge of first Finance Secretary Punjab. HA Majeed was then transferred and posted in Federal Government where he served on key posts including Federal Secretary Finance.

He was a great man, one of the most renowned ICS officers of his time.

Pirzada Salman Bashir, FSP. 3rd CTP. Currently Federal Secretary Foreign Affairs.
Pirzada Salman Bashir,. That time allocations used to be on the basis of CTP, and Salman Bashir was first in the whole batch and opted for FSP. His brother, Admiral Noman Bashir is the Naval Chief nowadays. Mr. Salman Bashir, has maintained exceptional service record & served as Ambassador in China before the current posting. He played prominent role in cementing Pakistan's ties with China. Further, as FS, he has proven to be one of the best diplomats of Pakistan dealing USA, Afghanistan, India and other countries. He is among one of the best FSP officers of Pakistan.

The Current Interior Minister Mr. Rehman Malik was a CSP of PSP and retired as Director FIA (Not sure about designation though)

He is not a CSP and was a lower grade employee in Bureau of Emigrants though he became Additional Director General of FIA. How? thats a story for another time. Moreover, he was terminated from his service by the then PM and didn't retire as you said.

It read it in a magazine where they highlighted his service career right from start to end. It showed that Rehman Malik was first appointed as ASP in Peshawar and than so on. However, I didn't investigate it myself. Thanks for clarification and sorry for false information.
