I have a question, as it feel bit silly..but need suggestions, in start of CSS preparation we should memorize each topic, or just go through whole syllabus once, then in second round start memorizing everything?

Every topic is not meant for memorization, some topics which contain fixed terminology, definition, facts and figures, so these must be memorized, while some topics are general and you only need to have idea, so its better to understand its meaning and after grasping sense you can write it in your own words. If you look at the papers you'll feel that many questions are general depending on the analytical abilities of the candidate.

@ alimallah
you are right. do include me in your prayers. @ rao atif iqbal thanks. yes i made this strategy. I have learned this technique when i was in Lawrence College Ghora Galli Murree. yes the strategy also work for your optionals. @fassi sure bro. i will keep in touch. you can contact me on my cell. @shanimba1 walekum aslam its good that you are starting right now. for essay preparation (1) read dawn daily (2) point out hot issue (3) read some good essays written by CSP's on this forum. (4) collect points of each topic. (5) think of the topic in multiple dimensions. (6) write, write and write (7) get it checked by someone. for composition buy a book whose author are wren and martin. i don't know its title. @roqayyah start reading the whole syllabus once to get an idea. don't concentrate on memorizing, for memorizing is short term. Develop your concept of each topic.it is long term.remember the concept will remain with you till end while memorized stuff will move from your conscious to subconscious very soon. @all thankyou dear all, kindly do suggest some improvements in my plan. Anxiously waiting for response.

actually this strategy is week oriented. You might have noticed that i have left the weekends for catching up and evaluations. still i will be anxiously waiting for any more recommendations.
